1989 Factory 1 opened for Wet Salads production.
1990 Diversified into sandwiches.
1991 Factory 2 opened for Sandwich Production.
1994 Napier Brown Holdings replaced 4
institutional investors.
1995 Factory 3 opened for Prepared Salads
production.
1997 Installation of chargrilling facility.
1998 Investment in automated Sandwich
production.
1999 Factory 4 opened at Manton Wood to produce
Sandwiches & Sushi.
2000 New Pasta Cooking facilities & Northern
Foods secures a 40% holding.
2001 Fully automated Prepared Salads line
commissioned.
2002 New segregated raw fish area at Manton & new chargriller at Corby.
2003 Opening of phase 2 at Manton Wood.
2003 Northern Foods Plc acquires remaining 60%.
2004 The Pizza Factory, Nottingham forms part of
the business unit.

Bakery moves to the business unit to form
