As one of the UK’s leading manufactures of fresh salads and sandwiches, we are committed to making and supplying high quality food in a responsible way. We recognise that through our business activities, many parties are affected, directly and indirectly.

Safe Environment to Work in
We are committed to providing a safe environment to work in. Safety is one of our key priorities as a business and all activities ensure that we manufacture in a safe way.

Energy
A cross functional Energy Team has been set up with the objective to reduce usage across the business. Energy conservation is now a high priority. The emphasis is to save Energy not to waste Energy. A sticker scheme has been introduced by our Energy Team. Red, Amber and Green stickers denotes what we can turn off and what we can’t. This is to help change peoples behaviours by having gentle reminders around the site. Energy notice boards are in place which keep everyone updated on our Energy usage and provides useful Energy saving tips for at home too.

Our Communities
We know that our manufacturing operations have an environmental and social impact on our immediate surroundings. We work alongside local schools, colleges, universities and community groups to ensure that we provide opportunities, support and advice wherever possible. In short we endeavour to be a ‘good neighbour’
