Today, Solway Foods
operates from two facilities one at Corby and one
at Manton Wood, 7 days a week. Fourteen hundred
employees create, every week, well over 1.3
million sandwiches, 500,000 salad meals and over
550 tons of dressed salads.
The sandwich market is one of the leading fast
food categories and at Solway Foods sandwiches
represents approximately 50% of the operation.
The range of sandwiches produced meets the full
spectrum of market demand, from vegetarian,
healthy, premium as well as wraps. We use a
whole range of breads including speciality rolls
as well as the traditional white and brown
sliced.

Not only do we have the equipment to manufacture
automated salads and sandwiches, we also have a
skilled and experienced team. We invest
heavily on both internal and external training
to ensure our staff are equipped to deal with
the challenges of an ever-changing market.
Our products and
employees cover a broad
spectrum of skills, making Solway Foods not just an
assembly plant, but a highly skilled chilled
food manufacturer.
At the Corby site we produce wet salads
(coleslaw / potato salad), prepared salads,
dressed salads and sandwich fillers.
